Enhance your researcher profiles in SciVal Experts
Do you want to facilitate collaboration across traditional disciplinary borders? Do you want to see translational research increase among your schools of medicine, engineering, arts, humanities, social sciences, and other disciplines? SciVal can help support all the researchers in your institution by prepopulating profiles with publications from Elsevier's Scopus database, integrating institutional content and enriching this information with individual researcher data.
Elsevier offers the Profile Enhancer, a module within SciVal Experts that enables your researchers to input additional content into their profiles. By helping your researchers enhance their profiles with more information on their scholarly activity, funding, intellectual property, creative works and other areas, your researchers can reveal a more comprehensive picture of their expertise and become even more discoverable by potential collaborators, both internally and externally. Administrators can also enter data on behalf of researchers.
Add a wide range of data to SciVal Experts
Your researchers or administrators can enter a variety of data into their profiles including:
- General Information
- Publications
- Research and Funding
- Intellectual Property
- Teaching
- Creative Works

SciVal Experts displays and indexes the content
The Profile Enhancer enables your researchers or administrators to enter additional data into the profiles. SciVal Experts indexes all publication, grant and patent data as well as research statements and research interest keywords, making your investigators' expertise more discoverable.
How it works
-
The researcher or administrator enters the data into designated forms and submits the information.
-
The data is instantly displayed in their profile within SciVal Experts. The researcher or administrator can make further edits or enter additional data at any time.
-
Any publication, grant or patent data entered into the Profile Enhancer is incorporated into the researcher's Fingerprints, and the investigator's research statement and research interest keywords are indexed in the Boolean search within SciVal Experts.
