Make the peer review process more reliable and efficient
Reviewer Finder provides a list of potential reviewers with indicators of expertise and possible conflicts of interest.
How it works
Powered by the Elsevier Fingerprint Engine™ Reviewer Finder produces visual semantic indexes, or Fingerprints, of the researchers in the Scopus database, the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. Each Fingerprint reveals expertise ranked by the uniqueness and frequency of the terms that define each author's publications.
By matching the Fingerprints of individual researchers against the Fingerprint of an incoming proposal, Reviewer Finder automatically suggests reviewers and identifies potential conflicts of interest. For example, is a potential reviewer a co-author to the researcher applying for funds? Has the potential reviewer worked at the same organization in the past as the applicant?
Reviewer Finder makes it easy to answer these imperative questions and identify the right reviewers.
