Identify the expertise of researchers across domains

Unlike competing tools that only cover the Life Sciences, SciVal Experts now applies nine different thesauri representing a wide range of domains including:

  • Agriculture and Biology - New
  • Arts and Humanities
  • Business and Economics
  • Earth and Environmental Sciences
  • Engineering and Physical Sciences
  • Mathematics - New
  • Medicine and Life Sciences
  • Physics and Astronomy - New
  • Social Sciences

By continuing to expand our domain coverage, SciVal Experts delivers accurate representations of researchers' expertise across all of these areas of research. SciVal Experts also suggests highly relevant terms when users run concept searches, enabling you to refine your search criteria quickly and easily.

Browse researchers' activities and accomplishments in CV format

In response to user feedback, data entered into the Profile Enhancer such as research statements, education, publications, grants, patents, teaching, creative works and awards and honors is now displayed in the new Curriculum Vitae tab.

Designed to resemble a CV, this page enables researchers in the Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and other domains who publish journal articles less often to represent the full range of their activities and accomplishments.

Download SciVal Experts data in bulk

Authorized users as specified by your institution can download a zip file of your organization's manually refined Scopus® publication data for all of your profiled researchers in SciVal Experts. Available in XML format, Elsevier updates these data weekly to ensure your researchers' publication histories are current. Your institution may use the bulk export to populate another system or for internal analysis, under the terms of the contract.

Display multiple affiliations in your researchers' SciVal Experts profiles

Your researchers may be affiliated with schools and departments as well as centers or hospitals. Now your institution can display up to three distinct organizational units in your SciVal Experts application to reflect your researchers' multiple affiliations.
